Since graduating from M-A, my family moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, where I attended the University of British Columbia (UBC) and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Spanish Literature. I was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority, where I held the offices of Recruitment Chair and Panhellenic Chair. I also served as the Panhellenic Recruitment Chair and got to travel to Greek conferences in California and Georgia. I met my husband in one of my Poli Sci classes in 1989 and we got married in 1995. We are parents of Arabella (also a UBC grad in Biology, now completing a Masters' in Women and Children's Health Sciences), and a son, Magnus (currently studying business). We live in beautiful Vancouver, BC. I began working for the stock exchange in Public Affairs in 1995 and have spent 29 years in the Canadian Capital Markets. My profession is Investor Relations/Corp Comm for public companies and I currently work for two companies: in mining and cannabis, overseeing the listing of the companies on the various stock exchanges, engaging with the investors and writing all shareholder communication. I love living in Canada and in Vancouver, where the mild weather, and the proximity to the ocean and mountains makes it an ideal setting to live, work and raise a family. My husband has a visual effects company and we have travelled extensively throughout North and South America and Europe. I give back to the community by volunteering with a number of charities, with World Vision and Loved at Last Dog Rescue being my most active.
